Assembly machines: More than a necessity

Assembly machines are far more than just a necessity in modern manufacturing – they are a key to efficiency and competitiveness. These specialized units enable the precise and automated assembly of components and significantly reduce manual errors and production times.

Particularly in industries with high-quality standards, such as the automotive industry or electronics production, assembly machines ensure consistent results and an optimized value chain. They also offer a high degree of flexibility, as they have a modular design and can be adapted to changing production requirements. Challenges such as a shortage of skilled workers, rising production costs, or complex product variations can be effectively overcome with assembly machines.

They also promote a safe working environment by taking over monotonous or dangerous tasks. Assembly machines are therefore not just an investment in the future, but an indispensable building block for sustainable production processes.

Features of the assembly machines from gKteso

The assembly machine from gKteso is a highly developed solution for automated production processes that impresses with its modular design and wide range of functions. Here is an overview of the most important product features:

Flexible modular system

The assembly machine from gKteso is based on a modular concept that enables individual adaptation to different requirements. It can be equipped with three robots to carry out a variety of assembly steps.

Camera-assisted robotics

A camera-supported separating robot identifies and positions the components precisely. This ensures exact processing and minimizes errors.

Material feed via rotary table

The material is fed in via a rotary table, which efficiently integrates the components into the machining process. This ensures a smooth process and enables continuous production.

Suitable for medium batch sizes

The system is ideal for medium-sized batches and can process components weighing up to two kilograms. This flexibility makes it versatile, especially in industries such as automotive, electronics, or medical technology.

Integrated testing and marking stations

Testing and marking can be integrated directly into the process to ensure product quality and traceability.

User-friendly operation

The control of the assembly machine is intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring easy handling and maintenance.

How the assembly machine works

Our assembly machine is an automated unit that performs various assembly steps such as gluing, screwing, greasing, pressing, inserting, and testing within a compact system.

Our solution, the Assembling System (AS) integrated from gKteso, consists of a flexible assembly machine, a camera-supported separating robot, and a rotary table for material feed.

  1. The process begins with the material feed via the rotary table, whereby the separating robot identifies and positions the components.
  2. Within the assembly machine, robots take over the precise execution of the assembly steps.
  3. Thanks to the modular system, the assembly machine can be equipped with three robots that guide the parts to different processing points.
  4. The flexibility of the system allows it to be quickly converted for different tasks, making it suitable for medium batch sizes and components weighing up to two kilograms.
  5. Finally, testing and marking can be integrated to ensure product quality and traceability.

Applicability of the assembly machines

Our assembly machines are versatile and are particularly suitable for the following processes:

  • Gluing: Precise application of adhesives to permanently join components.
  • Screwing: Automated screwing for uniform and secure connections.
  • Greasing: Targeted application of lubricants to reduce friction and wear.
  • Press-fitting: Controlled insertion of components into prefabricated fixtures.
  • Insertion: Positioning of parts in fixtures or assemblies.
  • Testing: Quality control through inspection and testing of assembled products.

Advantages for your production

  • Cost savings through automation: assembly machines reduce the need for manual labor and lower personnel costs in the long term. Repeatable processes minimize rejects and expensive rework.
  • Flexibility for production changes: Thanks to their modular design, assembly machines can be easily adapted to new products or production requirements, making the investment future-proof.
  • Improved process stability: Automated assembly machines work with consistent precision, avoiding fluctuations in quality. This strengthens confidence in the products supplied.
  • Increased safety for employees: Automated machines take over dangerous or ergonomically stressful tasks, reducing the risk of accidents and health hazards.
  • Optimized use of production space: Assembly machines are compact and space-saving, enabling more efficient use of space in the production hall and creating room for other machines or expansions.
  • Fast integration of new processes: Thanks to the modular design, new processes or technologies can be quickly integrated into existing systems, increasing adaptability to market changes.
  • Reduced changeover times: The ability to changeover between different product variants without spending a lot of time minimizes production interruptions and increases overall productivity.
