Deburring with multi-axle technology for grinding or brushing

Deburring-cells by gKteso also drill holes

In deburring, production processes require automated technology such as in deburring-cells by gKteso. Mechanical processing of metals or plastics, like milling, turning or punching works are often accompanied by burrs, due to material displacement. The rising quality demand for today’s manufacturing structures and ever more challenging workpieces therefore make efficient and professional deburring indispensable. gKteso provides with its multi-axle deburring-cells a technology solution that meets and exceeds the tasks and quality demands.

Even in areas of difficult access, any burrs are carefully removed through grinding or filing in deburring-cells. Technology by gKteso even allows simple milling and drilling works on aluminum die cast parts. Plastic parts produced through deep-drawing processes can be finished with this deburring-cell as well. Deburring-cells by gKteso are also ideal for 3D-trimming.

Deburring cells by gKteso for various industries

Numerous companies in the aerospace industry as well as the automotive and supplier industry already benefit from the problem-free post-processing of components with deburring-cells by gKteso. The systems can be optionally equipped with an additional rotary axis in order to allow multidimensional operations. Together with its 5-axis-deburring cell, the application range includes even most complex geometries and form elements. The completely closed work space meets the high safety demands.

Multidimensional deburring

During deburring, the workpiece to be processed is fixed inside the deburring-cell where it is then treated with brushes or files. Even complex components, such as cylinder heads, hydraulic blocks or pump housings are smoothed, due to the multi-axle features of the deburring-cells by gKteso. Aside from workpieces made from steel, gray cast iron, aluminum, brass or bronze, also plastic components produced through deep-drawing processes can be treated.

gKteso offers automated, closed deburring-cells either as a flexible stand-alone system or as a component for production lines. The customer may choose either a workpiece-guided or a tool-guided system. In tool-guided deburring, the workpiece to be processed for deburring, insertion of holes and brushing is moved along several spindles. The cycle-times are shorter than in tool-guided deburring, where the workpiece is clamped into a device and successively processed with the tools. Depending on the type, the clamping devices are located either on the worktop or at the motor system. Regardless of the chosen process, both of them achieve the same surface quality.
